Mr. Ricardo F. Diaz is a graduate of the United States Military
Academy at West Point, New York and spent 20 years as an officer
in the United States Army in the areas of security,
intelligence, operations research, marketing, and marketing
research. Mr. Diaz is a graduate of the Operations Research/
System Analysis Military Applications Course and the ORSA
Continued Education Program, hosted at the Army Logistics
University (formerly ALMC) in Fort Lee, VA., and an M.B.A. in
Network Assurance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr.
Diaz experience in ORSA include 5 years as a marketing analyst,
team chief of the longitudinal section, Strategic Partnership
Officer and Officer-in-Charge of the simulation section at the
United States Army Recruiting Command in Fort Knox, KY.
He also has 2 years of ORSA experience in the Futures
Development and Integration Center in Fort Sill, OK.
Among his main accomplishments was to get published in
June 1999 by the Strategic Studies Institute, “The Hispanic
Market, an Overview”. Mr. Diaz was also selected as
the Project Officer for the Secretary of the Army’s “Hispanic
Leadership Conference” in Miami, FL in December 1999, and the
project officer for the United States Army Recruiting Command
Strategic Study using the Balanced Scorecard in 2004-2005.
During his time in Fort Sill, Mr. Diaz was appointed the
Study Director for the 2010 TRADOC Joint Fires Studies.
Mr. Diaz finished his military career as an
ROTC instructor and Battalion Executive Officer of the ARMY ROTC
Battalion at the University of Texas at Arlington.
After retiring from the ARMY in 2007, he took the contractor job
of “Commandant of Cadets” and was in charge of the
administration and logistics of a 200 person military
organization, developing a deep understanding of government
contracting, logistics, and equipment requirements.
In June 2011 Mr. Diaz terminated his
employment as a contractor and began working and developing
Masterminders Group in a full time basis. He has quickly
mastered the world of government contracting and has built a
good reputation quickly among contracting officers.
Masterminders Group was awarded six open market contracts valued
at over $149,000 in the first year of operation and is currently
seeking additional open market and contracted opportunities both
with the federal government, local governments, and private
firms.
